Ben Mantle graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design. Since then he has worked in film, as Head of Animation in a Brighton-based studio as well as being an illustrator, and has exhibited his digital work in Brighton and London. He has published books with Usborne, Scholastic, and HarperCollins amongst others. He has also recently animated the Big and Small characters on a CeeBeebies interactive website. He lives in Brighton.
